Job Summary The Branch manager is responsible for leading sales agents in their allocated region, driving the acquisition and growth of clients across all company’s products. The role requires high-level sales strategy, leadership, mentoring, and a strong understanding of lending practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive disbursement growth.
Set clear performance targets and monitor progress across all sales teams.
Identify market trends and competitor activities to refine approach and positioning.
2. Team Supervision & Performance Management
Supervise and support the sales agents, by providing directions to help them achieve their targets.
Conduct regular coaching, field visits, and performance reviews for the agents
Implement training programs and team motivation strategies.
Recruit /headhunt and train agents
Develop and Implement strategies to make dormant agents active
3. Sales Execution & Client Engagement
Ensure effective lead generation, customer engagement, and high loan conversion rates.
Drive quality customer service and ensure client satisfaction across all touchpoints.
4. Compliance & Reporting - Ensure sales processes adhere to internal policy, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. - Prepare detailed performance reports and insights for senior management. - Collaborate with credit and other team members to improve sales effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing or related field
5+ years in sales within microfinance or financial services
At least 2 years in a supervisory or senior team leader role.
Experience managing a sales team across a region is highly desirable.
